The mountains of coastal California are sources of power and inspiration, and Mount Tamalpais has an especially strong gravity. In our Marin cohort, we will deepen our relationship with this place, re-bonding with its deep redwood canyons, its rocky nooks and perches, its grass-strewn high ridges. From bottom to top, as we consider the conglomeration of Tam’s Beings, we will also examine the tapestry of our own accomplishments:

 

What are the rocks and roots of our deeds? What forms the foundations of what we attain?

What Beings do we support in the efforts we make? Who, and what, do we feed?

What will we do with the things we have built? Who will share in our success?

 

As the sun begins its annual descent toward the season’s end, we will ascend the mountain’s heights, feeling the clarity in the autumn air, and celebrating who we are and who we will become.
